About this game

One man. One Bus. Three hundred and sixty miles of simulated post-apocalyptic desert, and the endless struggle between man and nature personified.

Desert Bus. The most realistic verisimilitude reality game ever created by man or beast or man-beast is here at last. So real in action, you’ll think you were really the driver of a bus crossing a Desert. No way out, no way home but the long way - by tow truck.

All proceeds will support the annual Desert Bus for Hope charity fundraiser for Child's Play, hosted by the crew from LoadingReadyRun.

Obviously, if you've been playing video games for any amount of time. You've probably heard of Desert Bus by now. The game performs and looks fine. And even has a new night mode, something that was not in the Sega CD original! But there's one problem with this port, the audio. It stutters every second and does not work properly.

Ah Desert Bus. The best game, and the worse game to ever exist. I know the game is terrible, but it's terrible in design, and was made intentionally to get back at people complaining in the 90's about video games not being realistic. I'm so glad to see such a great Charity come from desert bus, and it's also a lovely surprise to see such a pleasant upgrade to the original with this version. I'll score one point for the people at Desert Bus for hope ♥️

exactly what i was looking for/10 one little detail significantly added to my immersion: the time in-game is the time IRL. the clock there on the dashboard was the actual time! i couldn't figure out why it was dark, then I realized it was nearly midnight and it hit me. i'm really driving this bus. for the next eight hours. also, i live in tucson, so that immersed me even more.
