About this app

NOTE: UPM is no longer actively developed or supported. It's being left here so existing users can continue using it but new users are encouraged to use a different password manager.

Universal Password Manager allows you to store all your usernames, passwords, URLs and notes in an AES encrypted database protected by one master password.

Internet access is only needed if you use the Remote Database feature. See website for details.

Love this app, easy to use and truly trustworthy. HOWEVER, the only option to do a "Synced" backup is to Dropbox. I do not use Dropbox. As a DECADES LONG USER I am not a programmer. I created a SourceForge login but end up in a vicious circle trying to contact someone. I use "Box" to sync my app backups but BOX is not an option.... only Dropbox. HELP!

Great app. Been using for years. You enter all of your passwords in and set 1 password to enter into the app. Super easy, and it functions perfectly. Been using it for probably 6 years maybe more. It saves to your phone to look passwords up yourself. It does not upload that I know of and it won't autofill passwords online. Its just to save passwords and look them up if you can't remember them.

I have been using this app for many many years and on many different phones and it has worked wonderfully on each. I have read other reviews about the misfortune of not being able to transfer over to another phone. I Had this happen on my 1st one and with some investigsting found that if you will make a copy of the upm file that your info is stored on to your card or cloud you can copy that back to your phone when you switch and all will be there. This method also assures you a backup. Thanks
