It works... But everything is slow, especially opening the app. For the longest I had notifications turned on but never got anything. Now I get notifications but they are sporadic and late often. I'll randomly get 15 to 70+ notifications at once. I guess it's better than never getting them. Location has improved but still isn't that good. At times it's a couple of streets off.

As others have stated, I do not receive notifications even though they are turned on. I hate T-mobile, that's why I came to Verizon. However, they got it right with their SyncUp kids' watch. Notifications were spot on, the location was accurate, you didn't need a special app to text or call your child, that's why they have their own phone number for this purpose(why Verizon doesn't do this is beyond me), and the best thing was my child could text whatever they wanted. Verizon,take notes, please.

I've had a love/hate with this app for years! Does it generally work? Yes. But I feel developers are really missing the mark and are out of touch with what parents need. Things I can't stand... zero notifications when my kids call or especially text me so I constantly miss messages from my kids (I've looked/tried!!).... the app constantly times out (too much security), especially if the app updates. The watches have the worst battery life and hardly make it through a school day!

The GizmoHub app can send notifications about calls and texts from the watch. This might be settings related.
The app timing out and short battery life are also unusual.
