I LOVE this app! It runs in quietly background, with only safety alerts being announced out loud(I'm sure there's probably a way to turn it off) The alerts are not repetitive. The home screen on the app is extremely user friendly. Has all the information you need to know about the weather in your current location. A couple of ads are on there, but they don't pop-up uncontrollably causing wrong selections(or at least I haven't experienced that yet) Great app, user friendly, highly suggest!!!!

My favorite news channel crew! No matter where I travel in the U.S., I can get local weather and my hometown as well. I like having the alerts come across my phone. Tornado warnings especially when I'm traveling. I've recommend WKYT app to several people in my long distance road trips because of alerts they where unable to receive on they're phones.

Since the update the weather display banner won't clear. And it doesn't show the high and the low so therefore pointless. I do love the radar and the alerts for emergency weather
