About this app

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
After the splash screen you can use the menu to choose the desired page or with a touch go directly to the information sheet.

IMPORTANT: I want to clarify that this app DOES NOT USE sensors and EVEN geolocation programs to guide you to your destination. This app is structured only with general information and a video clip describing the itinerary I have traveled.

Furthermore, the Map that you find in the menu is a large photo and I have inserted it only to give you a general idea of the position of the places described in the video.

This app is divided into 3 parts:
- Map (zoomable static photo)
- Information sheet with general information useful for planning the trip
- n.1 Video clip

Since 1990, World On Communications has created over 80 video guides on different and evocative places in the world. Each video guide is structured as an itinerary that can be easily retraced during one's holidays. Now, these video guides and their information form the basis of a new set of applications for Android devices.

These "MACHU PICCHU / Inca Trail 1 and 2" apps are part of the series of app-guides dedicated to the immense natural and cultural heritage of Peru. In the video of app 1 we will follow the itinerary Cusco - Km 88 - Qoriwayrachina - Wayllabamba - Runkurakay - Sayajamarca - Phuyupatamarca...

While in the video of the app 2 sold separately we will follow the steps:
Phuyupatamarca - Huíñayhuayna - Intipuncu - Machu Picchu.

NOTE: Each app created by me is independent, works in all its parts and does not need other resources or external links.

HOW TO GET THERE: from LIMA to CUSCO direct domestic flight, duration about 90 minutes. BUS: You can reach Cusco following the classic route Lima - Paracas - Nazca - Arequipa - Puno - Cusco to discover the main wonders of Peru. Several packages are offered by tour operators both in Peru and around the world.

PRECAUTIONS AND VACCINATIONS FOR THE ROUTE
No particular vaccinations are required if you do not go outside the tourist routes. The vaccination against yellow fever is recommended as a precaution, it is valid for ten years and can be useful for other trips.

NOTE
CUSCO is located at an altitude of 3400m, whether you come directly from Lima or after doing the classic tour, we suggest you take half a day of rest and move slowly. Do not take alcoholic beverages or drinks that are too cold but ask for a cup of the typical coca maté, an infusion that helps regulate breathing at these altitudes.

POSITION
The Inca Trail starts 82km from Cusco and the route to Machu Picchu is 42km.

CLIMATE
The climate in the area of the route is generally mild all year round. The best time to cross it is during the dry season (April-October). June is the coldest month and August offers milder and more stable weather.
From November to March, the rains…
