• Complete offer in one place: Never miss our special offer again and always be informed about discounted products.
• Reminder setting: We can also remind you of particularly interesting products if you wish.
• Shopping list: Writing a shopping list by hand is a thing of the past. Create your wish list in the app and add your favorite products.
• Recipe world: Browse through HOFER's delicious recipes for every occasion.
• Convenient store finder: Find information about HOFER stores near you and the current opening hours.
• Check stocks: Quickly and easily check which stores your desired product is available in.

Permissions:
* Network communication: this permission is primarily used to display current special offers and store information. No user information will be sent other than that required for email reminders to work. See our privacy statement for more information. Before the current information is displayed, a check is made as to whether a data connection has been established. If the connection is not established, a warning appears.

* System startup: All reminders in the app have been deleted so far when restarting the smartphone (but not reminders sent via email). With this new permission, reminders are re-recorded in the system each time the phone is restarted.

* Secure memory access: This permission allows the HOFER application to cache Google Maps. The HOFER application itself does not access the external memory.

* Approximate location: the use of GPS requires a relatively large amount of processing power. Therefore, the HOFER application initially uses other positioning options when searching for nearby stores.

* Your location: GPS positioning is required to find nearby stores.

* Hardware controllers: in the "QR code reader" menu tab, you can read many QR codes printed on the packaging of our products under "more" with your smartphone. Therefore, the application needs access to the camera.
