These comments are relative to my brand new Galaxy Note 9. This app does keep the call screen open indefinitely, and it is an advantage in that regard. However, it also keeps the start screen open indefinitely. (Here I'm defining "start screen" to be the screen that appears immediately after hitting the power button. The default on the Note 9 has an image that looks like blue and yellow paint.) This causes a problem if you receive a notification, say from a text or phone call, that you don't immediately see. The start screen will turn on and stay on indefinitely, running down the battery until you manually turn it off. I detected this when I lost 5% of my battery in a short period of time and noticed that the start screen was on even though I hadn't used the phone in 15 minutes. I had received a text notification without realizing it. Why Android would program the call screen to turn off in 5 seconds is beyond me and is very irritating. My previous Note 4 did not do this. An app like "Keep Screen On" is essential but I believe it could be improved by being able to distinguish between the call screen and the start screen.

As simple as it gets, but it fixes the problem I've always had with my S8+ turning the screen off when I'm using the phone on speaker and need to use the dial pad. Annoying as hell when you need to deal with an automated system to enter account numbers, etc, and the phone wants to turn off the screen on you. One simple thing gets you 5 stars.

Life saver! I'm on conference calls ALL the time, and the screen would dim or lock after 10 or 15 seconds, so it was a pain and time consuming to take myself off mute, VERY inconvenient. This app is super simple and keeps the screen ON. Update: May 2020, since the last Samsung update the app has stopped working. Display goes dark after 10 seconds 😒
