About this app

Erste Card Club has developed a mobile application that allows users to securely access information about the use of their Erste Card Club card (Diners Club, Mastercard and Visa).

Regardless of whether they already use the ECC online service on the Web or not, to access the ECC mobile application, Erste Card Club users need to activate mToken. After activating the mToken, they use mPIN to log into the mobile application. If a user forgets his mPIN, he can choose the option to re-register on the home screen, which will delete the existing mPIN and use the re-set one for login.

FUNCTIONALITY

Using the ECC Mobile application, end users can use the following features:

Review of cards and their details
Cost overview
Checking the amount available for consumption
Purchase check (for non-communicated limit cards)
Installment management (skip one monthly installment or repay all remaining installments)
View and pay your bills
View rewards programs and discounts
Manage your profile
Card management
Purchase of GSM vouchers

SAFETY

The mobile app is safe and easy to use. The application must be downloaded through the Play Store, and access to the Internet is required for use on a mobile device. Access to the application is not possible without an mPIN that is known only to the user, therefore, in case of theft or loss of cell phones, there can be no abuse. MPIN data is not stored in the cellphone. In case of multiple consecutive entry of incorrect mPIN (maximum four times), the application automatically deletes the mToken, and in order to re-access the application, the registration procedure must be repeated. After 15 minutes of non-use, the application will automatically log off the user.

The application fails to connect with the online shop for which confirmation is required. Nothing appears in the app for confirmation. Very frustrating, since the old system via sms worked very well. Now, you cannot even choose that option anymore. Information on how to use the app is spread over 7 movies on 3 pages, in which more effort is put in making them look flashy than bringing information accross. No FAQ, no troubleshoot. Poor communication altogether.

We apologise for the difficulties you experienced. Some web shops introduced new system with push notifications and some still use SMS for confirmation. Great app, saved me lots of time and I can see every expense immediately. Only, some features need to update or for example: if I want to see my limit, especially when have to stretch on longer period, all is soo complicated. It was better before when I could see funds reserved for transactions on longer period, every day transactions-payments directly and withdrawal of chash. That sistem worked better for me. Nevertheless, app is great!

This app is great for keeping track of your expenses and invoices. However, my main use case for this app is online shopping and that feature is unusable. I've been trying for days to scan my ID card - nothing. It just says "skenirajte prednju stranu podrzanog dokumenta". Both my ID and my phone are brand new, I've tried different lighting and angles, didn't work. And I've used OCR tech to scan my ID before without any issues.

Hi Ivana, we are sorry that you're having issues with the app. You can update ECC Mobile app to new version (8.0). It now supports new ID card and you'll be able to scan it. After successful e-identification you can confirm your online purchases. If you're gonna have any difficulties please contact us so we can sort it out as soon as possible.
