This is an app version of the "Kinema Shunho Movie Database" that covers more than 47,000 Japanese and Western movies and more than 300,000 Stuff Cast names, centering on works released in Japan from 1945 to April 2014 after the war.
You can easily and quickly search for the work or person you want to know anytime, anywhere.
When watching a movie or renting a DVD, you can immediately find out what you are interested in about the movie on the spot.

[Works] Approximately 47,000 titles: Title of work (reading / original title) / Year of production / Date of release / Commentary / Story
[Personal name] Approximately 300,000: Personal name (reading) / filmography (chronological order)
[Staff category] 104 types: Director / Screenplay / Shooting / Appearance, etc.
[Staff / cast information] Approximately 1 million
[Kinema Junpo back number list] Approximately 1600 volumes: Back number headline list from the postwar reissue to May 2012 (no article)

■ Basic usage
1) Headword search: Enter the work name and personal name from the upper right of the screen.
You can search by "starting match", "exact match", "partial match", "last match", and "full text".
・ If you only know the title of a movie or a part of a person, the "partial match" search is very convenient.
・ Full-text search ・ ・ You can search for character strings in the entire text.
2) Composite search: You can search by limiting the categories of works / people from the [Composite] button at the top of the screen.
・ In the work name search, in addition to the work name, you can narrow down the search by keywords such as Japanese / Western movies (selection), country of production, and year of production.
3) "Kinema Junpo" back number search: From each search, a list of back numbers of "Kinema Junpo" related to works and personal names is displayed.
