Adds a different and darker tone than the campy raimy trilogy but focuses I bit too much on Peters parents. Having an independent gwen Stacy was miles better then a Mary Jane with an early piercing scream and Emma stone and Andrew Garfield had really good chemistry and felt realistic Peter Parker was an irresponsible teenager who learns responsibility which is very relatable for many people. Solid and underrated movie. Not as good as spiderman 1 tbh.

I really don't understand why people hate this film. I enjoyed it as a superhero movie, a marvel film, and a film in general. Same for the sequel. Although I am looking forward to the official Marvel spin on things, that doesn't mean I don't like this film. Nor does it mean I don't like the sequel. Andrew Garfield is witty, serious, heartbreaking, and fun all at the same time, Far more than Toby Maguire ever was. The only thing I don't like is the suit, but they fixed that in the sequel. It looks too professional for a homemade suit. But I digress, it's still a fun film nevertheless. And if you want to see Spider Man in action, brought into modern film-making, this is perfect for you. If you want a fun film to watch, still perfect. If you want Comic Book faithful spiderman, watch the sequel,

I like The Amazing Spider-Man but To be honest I like Sam Raimi Spiderman better than this because Andrew Garfield iz normal, I mean he gets Gwen way to easy as for Tobey gets the girl in Spider-Man 2 but Onli manages to kiss MJ while he wuz Spider-Man, Andrew Iz an awesome skater and iz smart but Not nerdy enough, Tobey iz a nerd and u wouldn't expect someone like him to get awesome powers. And do u know what else I like about Tobey iz that he can b bothered to play as his own character in the video game
