About this movie

One of the most historically significant films of all time, Steven Spielberg's Schindler's List is a powerful story whose lessons of courage and faith continue to inspire generations. Winner of seven Academy Awards including Best Picture and Best Director, this incredible true story follows the enigmatic Oskar Schindler (Liam Neeson), who saved the lives of more than 1,100 Jews during the Holocaust. It is the triumph of one man who made a difference and the drama of those who survived one of the darkest chapters in human history because of what he did.

One of the most important films ever made extolling the triumph of hope over abject unending despair. The full horror of the holocaust and the banality of evil are shown in a soul-scarring unsentimental way. A plea to please allow humanity to finally to watch and learn so as to never to repeat the holocaust..

Possibly the most upsetting movie ever because of the subject matter. Well acted but feel it underplays the horror just to make it watchable. I can't imagine the horror endured by the Jewish community. Such a dark period of history. Superb film I just don't know if can ever watch again

This is a film that everyone should watch. Not because its a big celeb movie but because it shows the true horrors that went on during the second world war. Its a long film and can be very hard to watch at times but by the end you realise its worth it and you've learned things they don't tell you in school! I truly believe that all school kids should watch this in year 11. It's not just about history but about how someone's actions can change the world.
