About this movie

From the guy who brought you Knocked Up and The 40-Year-Old Virgin comes SUPERBAD. Seth (Jonah Hill) and Evan (Michael Cera) want nothing more than to lose their virginity before they head off to college. To do that, though, they need to get liquor for the big party that night. With the help of their friend Fogell, a.k.a. McLovin (Christopher Mintz-Plasse), and his fake I.D., the three of them go on a hilarious chase for that elusive booze, dodging incompetent cops (Knocked Up's Seth Rogen and 'Saturday Night Live's' Bill Hader), angry neighbors and jealous boyfriends. Hailed as an 'iconic comedy...a true classic of its times' (Pete Hammond, Maxim), SUPERBAD is a laugh-out-loud masterpiece! 2007 Columbia Pictures Industries, Inc. All Rights Reserved.

I first watched Superbad when it came out, and although it was a laugh, it didn't seem like anything special. But it stuck with me. The simple humor this film employs is the kind that makes you chuckle to yourself every time you think back on it. It's very telling that nearly the entire cast of Superbad have gone on to become A-list actors, bordering on household names.

I'm in my 30s now and this movie helped bring back some very old memories about what it was like to be that age. A movie that is funny, sweet, with just the right level of profanity and raunchiness.

I saw this film, thinking of all the Seth Rogen films, that it was going to be mediocre, but a good time passer, but this movie was hilarious!! I love every scene, because it animal house, mixed with Rogens charm, and great acting from Jonah hill, and that all worked! I would definitely recommend this film!!
