Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters (Extended)

A great "What if..." adaptation of a familiar fairy-tale. I had no expectations when watching it for the first time and was very pleasantly surprised with the results. Fairy-tale magic plus steampunk style tech plus good looking stars willing to play it to the nines makes for a very entertaining get-away from the drudgery of reality. And to all those who poo-pooed the movie, lighten up people, you're taking yourself way too seriously.

This is one of my all-time favorite movies. It may not be a masterpiece but it is an amazing spin-off from the children's tale. I definitely recommend watching the movie and try to keep in mind the year this was made and that the budget wasn't the biggest for this movie so some effect are off, but to be be very honest, it made it that much funnier to watch. If you don't go into this expecting the greatest movie ever, I guarantee you'll have a fun time.

It's been several years since I last watched this. After all that time, all I remember about it, was thinking Famke Janssen was really good as the witch. She was really scary as far as movie witches go. I hadn't seen a old hag move that fast & furious EVER 💯I wanna re-watch this now...
