About this movie

In a dystopian future, a relentless turf war rages. Two rival gangs feud for control of rural wasteland Frazier Park ('The FP') in the deadly arena of competitive dance-fight video game "Beat-Beat Revelation." After hometown hero BTRO is slain on the dance platform by thug leader L Dubba E, his protégé younger brother JTRO (Jason Trost) goes into isolation, vowing never to duel again. One year later, The FP is in ruins, and JTRO must find the courage to return and restore order in a ruthless battle for revenge that can only leave one man dancing. From the producers of Paranormal Activity and featuring narration by James Remar (The Warriors), THE FP is a fury of fierce footwork, triumphant montages and neon street wear that Moviefone calls "a rare ready-made cult hit."

Unless you have seen films such as idiocracy, or films like super troopers and broken lizard's Club Dread this most likely is not for you. It is shot in a serious manner as in all the actors never break character. The movie is not to be taken serious, but rather to be enjoyed as a campy silly indie movie

Many like to bash the quality of this film or the strange direction that it heads it. First off, I would like to say that I know that it's a retarded movie. However, what makes this movie insanely good is not how retarded or how good the movie is, it's how well they portrayed their intended vision. The FP is so retarded, that I have yet to find a film that is worse. That, in and of itself, makes it a wonderful movie because it is meant to be that type of movie. Watch it in a room full of friends, get together with some snacks, and just get ready to point out how ridiculous the whole film is. It will be a GREAT time.
