This movie is just another one of those cheesy kid movies that are barely entertaining. What makes this movie worse, though, is that it insults a very important and special holiday. HEY PEOPLE! If you want to see a movie that teaches something valuable and also has the real meaning of easter, not some candy bunny crap, then watch An Easter Carol. Its mostly for little kids, but still MUCH better than this garbage.

This movie was incredibly boring. It took so long for the actual plot to develop. Yes, there were funny moments, and once I knew what the story was, it was somewhat compelling, but that's all it's got. And the laughs in the movie weren't even that funny. Illumination has really gone downhill in this one. Let's hope the next movie they make doesn't have a plop of a story and isn't a total bore.

The only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is because I rarely ever give something 5 stars. But it's a great movie the candy factory is very detailed. I highly recommend this to anyone. I saw this back in 2011 in theaters my only time I went to theaters. But then again it was for a birthday party and my friends were paying.
