At a carnival, young Josh Baskin (Tom Hanks) wishes he was big -- only to awake the next morning and discover he is! With the help of his friend Billy, Josh lands a job at a toy company. but the more he experiences being an adult, the more Josh longs for the simple joys of childhood.

Watched it as a kid and I would definitely watch it now. Im wondering if I should get out my credit card just to get a free movie. I have this movie on vhs! Lol. Its a great movie definitely recommended.

Exceptional exploration of weird premise, with very fleshed-out performances by Tom Hanks, Mercedes Ruehl and Elizabeth Perkins. Very New York-y. Evokes an indelible feeling of nostalgia.
