About this movie

Shane Dawson directs and stars in this raunchy yet heartfelt coming-of-age comedy from the producer of AMERICAN PIE. Former prom king and college freshman Scott (Dawson) returns home for Thanksgiving break only to be dumped by his eccentric, long-term girlfriend. With his world turned upside down, Scott strikes an unlikely friendship with former classmate Tori, an ugly duckling who blossomed in her first semester of college. Together, the two embark on an outrageous adventure through their hometown. But when Scott and Tori find their friendship turning into something deeper, they realize that a few months away may have changed them more than they realized. Costarring Drew Monson and Lisa Schwartz, NOT COOL was documented on THE CHAIR, the Starz original TV series that follows two directors as they compete to adapt separate movies from the same screenplay.

First off I find it really offensive that people are rating and commenting on this movie and they haven't even seen it, just because they are fans of Shane Dawson. Apparently this movie was made because of a series called "The Chair", I didn't realize this until after I watched the movie and came across another version of the called " Holidaysburg" directed by some other no name. I think the movie HAD potential to be great if he left out the really crude stuff. Some parts were funny, others you just ask why

Funny , crude and sexy humor with a sweet side. Acting is pretty good, Especially the Main girl Tori Whori ; ) .Drew Monson is hilarious in this movie, his character made the movie for me. This might not be the biggest budget and the story isn't anything too out of the box, but this movie did what any Teen comedy should do, make you laugh, shed a tear and make you smile. This is definitely a great first movie for Shane Dawson, I'm excited for him and his future endeavors. Also supporting fellow YouTubers and some good upcoming actors is an awesome thing and I'm all for it when i see good talent.

I personally loved it. I love Shane, he has really come a long way; from making little skits on Youtube to a real movie. The critics reviews were all written by adults. Things have changed and I personally don't think anyone should decide to watch this movie based on what they have said. Younger generations have become more excepting of this kind of humor. Adults think to hard about things. It seems like they're all really politically correct, afraid to hurt anyone's feelings. Shane Dawson is part of the younger generation that is not afraid to be who they are and he proud of his own sense of humor.
