About this movie

When her crown is stolen from the Crystal Empire, Twilight Sparkle pursues the thief, Sunset Shimmer, into an alternate world where she finds herself turned into...a teenage girl! To regain her crown and return to Equestria, Twilight must learn how to fit into this strange new world and defeat Sunset Shimmer in a competition to become crowned Princess of the Fall Formal at Canterlot High. Luckily, she'll have the assistance of Spike and five teenage girls who remind her of a certain group of ponies back home.

It good. It was the first time i saw the first My Little Pony. The music was great, the animation style was awesome, and it does the high school thing better than DC Superhero Girls. But there's one problem... Sunset Shimmer plan was to take over Equestria with a army of mind-controled army of teenagers, Her plan was doomed from the start.

The movie isn't horrendous, it's just...bad. I thought having the ponies turn into humans were a great idea and the voice acting was brilliant as always. But other than that i had problems with this movie, such as the creepy designs, lack of explanation, idiotic characters, *censored* villain, no charm of the show and conflicts are brought up and solved in seconds. I have three things i need to say before i go. 1. Like Ren and Stimpy adult party cartoon, this spin off just did not relate to the ACTUAL show. 2. People like themysteriousmrenter and theinvertedshadow gave this movie a good grade dispite missing out the horrid stuff. 3. Flash Sentry needs to go die in a hole and never be seen again.

This movie is like a pilot episode to a tv series. Unspecific and Inoffensive, but the series following it gets better as it goes on. While older people will probably find it bland the intended audience should like it. While it lives off of tropes it doesn't treat it's viewers like idiots or just try and grab money from them, like many people feared when the concept was first announced. All in all if your kid loves ponies, music, and the general idea of high school then this movie is perfect
