About this movie

Martin Scorsese directs this true story of New York stockbroker Jordan Belfort (Leonardo DiCaprio). From the American dream to corporate greed, Belfort goes from penny stocks and righteousness to IPOs and a life of corruption in the late 80s earning him the title "The Wolf of Wall Street." Money. Power. Women. Drugs. Temptations were for the taking and the threat of authority was irrelevant. For Jordan and his wolf pack, more was never enough. (Original Title - The Wolf of Wall Street)

A movie that tries to be current and cool, but it isn't and those critics at Rotten Tomatoes have clearly aged, lost sight of what a good movie actually is....(Inception?? Pffft, yeah right!!) loved by those intrigued about drugs and also those with 420 in their username. There is one good scene (car)...the rest a repetitive mess. Robbie Margot looks great...so that takes my score to 1 star!

The thing I can't take with this movie is how badly it is made. Not the actors or their play, but the movie itself. Every time the camera angle changes, something goes wrong: the mouth of the person talking doesn't move, or some things are in a different place, or the sleeves are different, etc... I can't watch it again. It was too painful the first time.

Even though it was 3 hours , its comedy and drama made the time go much faster. Choice of roles was near on perfect, and Leonardo as always hit the nail on the head. Not the best film in the world, but It was worth the hype
