I had watched this show as a kid and loved it. But after growing up and seeing the new Ghostbusters, I realize that this movie actually sucked. I couldn't even make it the whole way through. The jokes fall flat, the acting is miserable, and it is super sexist. The main character is some sort of creepy pervert who uses his business to force himself into a woman's house and then tries to physically forced himself on her. It was pretty gross.

Ghost Busters, the original, will always remain a five star classic. However, this supposed Hi-Def version I just bought is a horrible copy. The resolution and graininess is simply awful. I would expect this quality of a low Standard Definition old style Video Tape...really sad. I'd loved to see a remastered 4K version of this classic.

An instant clasic, and if I had the space I would type every word of the script. This is probobly my favoret movie of all time. it has good charm, an amazing cast, phonomenal writing, and just over all top quality. I can watch it over and over and still never get tired of it. With Bill Murray's improv, Dan Ackroyd's creative genius, Harold ramisi's dead pan delivery, and Ernie Hudson's dry and realistic humer this is easily one of the best syfy comidis out there. I would recommend this to anyone.
