About this movie

In the Orange Islands far south of Kanto, a Trainer named Lawrence is on a sinister quest: catching the Legendary Pokémon Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres in an attempt to awaken Lugia, guardian of the sea! When Ash and friends arrive, the islanders ask him to gather three elemental orbs from different islands. As the weather across the world goes out of control, it becomes clear that the capture of the Legendary trio has thrown the environment out of balance! With Lugia’s help, can Ash find the orbs, restore the balance, and be the “chosen one” that everyone turns to?

Childhood classic. One of the best animated films of it's time, and it still holds up today. Definitely a film that knows how to pull on heart strings, and trigger different emotions. The story centers around Ash as he tries to qwell the anger of the 3 original legendary birds with some big time help from one of Johto's 2 legendary birds, Lugia. Well written and is great for younger audiences, as the film can teach a couple life lessons, just as the first pokemon movie could. Worth a watch.

Anime. Good old anime. It always comes back to anime. Can I just say that pokemon journeys was pretty trash? But the old classic movies (like this) completely make up for that. Just taking the old classics and rewatching them again and again is probably one of my favorite things to do in my free time. This movie is a complete classic pokemon movie and if you haven't watched it watch it. Because anime.
