This film is emotionally charged from start to finish. A lot of care was taken with the "sacrifice" scene and it's one of the most graphic and brutal scenes I've ever scene period. The art is amazing in this movie. The music is pretty good as well. It's not as good as the anime, but still suspenseful and chilling as ever. Two thumbs up for the voice-acting. Still a little bit of CG but nothing too cringeworthy. There's only one scene where the CG is a little weird, but that's just nitpicking. I really don't know what else to say right now about this epic masterpiece. Watch the anime, read the manga, and watch the movies! Berserk: The Golden Age Arc III is a definite Del-recommend! A+

I forget that I've seen this each time I rent it. It's a quality production, but maybe too ambiguous. Really strong guy immediately makes love to woman... then knights fight monsters. It doesn't risk anything.
