About this movie

Get even more thrills and chills in Alien: The Director's Cut, a special edition of director Ridley Scott's science fiction/horror classic. For this digitally remastered special edition of what many have called the "scariest movie ever made," Ridley Scott has incorporated new never before seen footage. The terror begins when the crew of a spaceship investigates a transmission from a desolate planet, and discovers a life form that is perfectly evolved to annihilate mankind. One by one, each crew member is slain until only Ripley is left, leading to an explosive conclusion that sets the stage for its stunning sequel, Aliens.

The xenomorph that launched 1,000 screams. One of the most influential & unsettling science fiction movies of all time. Peerless direction, taut writing and authentic performances, plus a unique (at the time) design both for a 'lived in' Universe and, of course, the Alien at the centre of it all. If you've never seen this film, do so now. It's extraordinary!

My absolute favourite movie. A hounted house story in space with arguably THE most iconic alien creation of all time. Perfect casting and a simple story with an iconic strong female lead in Sigourney Weaver. The scene at the end of the film where she has to turn her back on the creature that has wiped out her crew gets me every time! Brilliant!

Still amazing after 30+ Years. Wonderful look to the movie. Love the mystery of the space jockey. Wonderful cast. Perfect performances all round. Great scoring but music was butchered by the film editor and director.
