What can I say except I think those who poo poo Daniel Craig's portrayal of Bond aught to go off and read some of Ian Fleming's Bond books and then they might see as I do that so far there have only ever been 3 people to play Bond as he was written, IE. 00 brach of her majesty's secret service (note not M16) is as all 00 agents is nothing more than a paid assassin, yes a cold hearted womanising assassin as I say only 3 actors have managed to pull this off Daniel Craig, George Lazonby and Timothy Dalton. In the books there are none of the fancy gadgets or the one line quips this was just a fabrication by a well known comedian Harry Saltzman and his partner in crime Albert R Broccoli and the original Bond movies are supposed to be spoofs of the books, I agree apart from the car chase at the beginning of Quantum of Solace it was the worst one of the 3 films I have just seen spectre at the cinema and I loved it, If you think bond has got too much plot and not enough action stick with, Silvester Stallone or Arnold Schwarzenegger movies.

I have watched each Bond film more times than is healthy for a functioning member of society and the Daniel Craig "reboot" films are the best thing that could have happened to the franchise. The action is spectacular, the introduction of a Bond with greater depth and human flaws and emotions allow us to develop a stronger connection to Bond. Please don't get me wrong, I love the gadgets, Q, Moneypenny of old but this is a post Bourne era and Bond had to move with the times to remain relevant and mission accomplished brilliantly. Five Stars!

I don't know what to judge this on, so I'll only judge Craig as 007. I freakin' love him. He has a cold, brutish manner that suits a younger Bond but has nicely mellowed out over the years to become my favorite. I don't think he has the best group of films to his name as 007, but he has my favorite portrayal of Bond. Casino Royale is definitely his best film, while Quantum of Solace is his worst.
