Training Day

Absolute fantastic acting. When you get an actor who mostly plays the good guy or the wrongly accused whose goes out to clear his name. Then put that same actor in a bad guy role disguised as a good guy. You actually hate him so much that you are biting your lip from anger, there is no more to be said. Oscar Winning Performance, Denzel. I also think he gave outstanding performances in A Soldiers Story, Glory, American Gangster, Malcolm X, Mo Better Blues, Pelican Brief.

Ok, I exaggerated; I haven't seen it a million times. But I've seriously lost count. Both Denzel and Ethan Hawke give their best performances ever. Great cameos. I love movies that take place in one day (like Friday). The fact that you start out liking Denzel's character and end up hating him makes this movie what it is. Anyone who says this movie is horrible needs to end up in Smiley's bath tub.

Not a huge fan of drugs and crime. The amount profanity in the movie really bothered me. Denzel Washington's performance with the addition of Ethan Hawk makes the movie really come alive, and a must see movie. They both really bring to life their characters. Especially Denzel!
