After rewatching this, it's still a pretty good superhero movie for it's time and it's even good today. Also, it's got a beautiful story and the actors do a wonderful job for what they're given, especially from Tobey Maguire, Willem Dafoe, Rosemary Harris and Cliff Robertson. Finally, it's got its scenes which have aged quite badly but overall, it's quite a good superhero movie to this day.

This movie was amazing but I think if they went with the original goblin costume, it would have been a five star. Also, Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst and James Franco were bad actors in the entire trilogy.

I was sceptical at first when I heard Director Sam Raimi would bring Spider-Man to life, since in the late 1990's ,superhero films were GARBAGE.Batman Forever,Spawn and Batman and Robin were very criticised. But this film brought the genre of superhero films back in 2002.This is a perfect adaption of the well known classic superhero, and Sam Raimi was a horror film director in the 1990's so in all his Spider-Man films he directed,he implemented a few SCARY scenes.Overall, one of the best films ever.
