Sundara Pandian

The village of Usilampatti is notorious for honour killings which is a very clear warning to all the young girls or boys found to marry against their traditional family wishes. Sundarapandian (Sasikumar) is a resident of a neighboring village and is known as a mischievous person, but at the same time is protective towards young girls and old ladies in the village. His friend, Arivazhagan falls in love with a college going girl, Archana (Lakshmi Menon), who is from Usilampatti. It so happens there is another person Buvaneswaran (Appukutty) from Usilampatti, who is also in love and trying to draw her attention. Sundarapandian decides to help his friend as well as Bhuvanesh by working out a plan, which shall provide equal opportunity to both suitors. But in all this, Archana falls in love with Sundarapandian, who apparently had expressed his love for her a few years back which she had turned down. The whole situation turns dramatically intense with Sundarapandian's father trying to broker peace and convince the angered residents of the Usilamptti village, to avoid any further bloodshed. Will Sundarapandian be able save himself and fight back with the people who are already colluding to murder him, just before his marriage...
