If you follow the current running TMNT you will appreciate the origin story implemented in this movie. I wish they'd have drawn a lil more inspiration from the new comics instead of trying so hard to include aspects to please the cartoon fans. I understand why they did this, but really I think a lot of us just wanted something new. We got a tiny amount, but overall it's a story we've seen time and time again in movies and cartoons. There's so many good story arcs in the new and old comics to draw from.Do it

Its so short I mean I liked the movie but its so short. Its only an hour and 1 minute. If they had made the movie longer I would give 5 stars. I gave 2 because if u make the movie short no one will really want to see it so just a shout out to the producers PLEASE PLEASE make the movie longer. I liked the movie but make it at least 3 hours long. Then everyone will want to see it. P.S. show a little more about how April was little and about the turtles and how they came to be.

For a revised origin film, this was actually ok, but I'm not really sure how it earned a PG-13 rating though (no nudity, no blood/gore, and barely a swear to be found). Anyhow, while I think trying to link April O'Neal to the turtle's past is a bit convoluted and unnecessary, it's fine for building up the overall story. If I had one complaint about this film (and it's sequel), it would be the amount of googling/flirting with April. Geez, we get it, she's supposed to be hot.
