His moral indignation is put to the test by the captain's obsession with forcing the subto the surface. Well much like most of the reviews, it was far better than I was expecting, a great movie. Great acting, story and full of suspense. Perhaps a little dated, but for those who can appreciate a movie that has no cgi or fancy effects, relying more on old school movie values, I highly recommend it. I was thrilled to find it here, as it is almost impossible to find dvd...

Great submarine warfare movie. Good acting performances. Seemed all accurate depicted. Tension at the end unbeatable. This movie is a blast (literally. )
