About this movie

In this outrageous buddy comedy, Vince Vaughn stars as an entrepreneur who travels to Europe with two associates (Dave Franco, Tom Wilkinson) to close the most important business deal of their lives. But the journey spins wildly out of control as the hapless trio encounters all kinds of crazy obstacles, including bar brawls, hotel foul-ups, foreign GPS directions, and a global fetish festival!

Super predictable. Wasn't many good laughs; tries too hard to be uplifting, while barely trying to be funny. Forgettable lead performances. I wasn't expecting a best picture nominated film... But the laughs were a bit cheap. Lots of sorta funny/awkward moments from Dave Franco who's attempting to play a mentally challenged but loveable simpleton... Who instead comes off like he's smoking 6 bongs between each take.

I was surprised at all the bad reviews here. What I really loved about this movie is that it never went over the top but still had great laughs and funny/awkward situations. It was like the movie Waiting but for salespeople. I even liked the family story on the side too because most sales people I've met are good family people who also see wild times on the road when trying to close business or let off steam when they didn't. I didn't feel it had to be one or the other. Its like the life many sales people live . I felt that Franco was great and the real standout but I love watching Tom Wilkinson's subtle reactions to Fanco's lines. He's such a good actor. Also Vince Vaughn did a great job playing it a little more straight than he usually does while still being the Vince I've loved since Swingers and Made. I liked all three characters and thought they all worked well together. This to me was way better than The Interns which was a Google commercial with a bad story written into it. It's not one of the best comedies of all time but it's a good laugh and definitely worth a watch. Especially if you have ever been in sales and spent some time on the road.

A typical Vince Vaughn style knee slapper comedy, Unfinished Business offers hilarity on numerous occasions yet ultimately fails to deliver, leaving the end product feeling 'unfinished'. Fortunately there are enough laughs offered up to make the movie watchable but not enough to enjoy it in its entirety. The humor is plenty to distract one from the unbelievability of the film however it also takes away from the morals and lessons Ken Scott attempts to teach us which can't be taken seriously in this setting
