I honestly enjoyed this book. It was different from many of the YA romances where the boy is the center or the girls universe, or vice versa. This story also spot lights love in the forms, friendship and family, no matter how different from them you may be. The acting was well done and heart felt with wonderfully exposing moments like the one between her and her grandfather (If you feel nothing here you have no soul) and the music itself was great, but I especially love how it was almost is own character.

Wow. Just wow. That is all I can say. I play the cello. Mia goes through so much. Not only does everyone in her family die, but she is seeing it as it is happening, not knowing whether she's going to live or not. Usually the movie is nothing compared to the book, but this is an exception. This is amazing. Never miss a chance to see it. It will blow you away.

It was a great movie but the person who played Mia wasn't that much of a good actor in my opinion, and if you read the book the movie quiet went with it but they missed a couple of few things and they also happned to put some things in to early and some a little to late. It seemed rushed and the characters didn't really seem to fit well with how they seemed in the book.
