About this movie

An all-new chapter in the Battlestar Galactica saga, Blood & Chrome takes place in the midst of the first Cylon war. As the battle between humans and their creation, the sentient robotic Cylons, rages across the 12 colonial worlds, a young, talented fighter pilot, William Adama (Luke Pasqualino, The Borgias), finds himself assigned to one of the most powerful battlestars in the Colonial fleet: the Galactica. Though Adama quickly finds himself at odds with his co-pilot, the battle-weary officer Coker (Ben Cotton, Alcatraz), the two men must set their differences aside when a routine escort mission with an enigmatic passenger (Lili Bordan, Silent Witness) turns dangerous and becomes a pivotal one for the desperate fleet.

For some reason, the movie would stop and return to the Play page about every 10 minutes. I could not find a way to stop this from happening, and it made view the movie very annoying. I eventually just had to keep track of the timing of the movie, start it over (it always started from the beginning), and then click on the last known time. Made for a very distracting movie. Movie was well written and brings into light Adama's son and his role in the fleet. There are parts of this movie that will make you wonder if mankind doesn't steer down this path. Very good special effects and action keep you glued, even through the slow drama parts. Here's a chilling thought: If were were dumb enough to choose the forbidden fruit and defy our maker, why couldn't the technology we make do the same to us? No wonder we have an expiration date.

A good mix of syfy and suspense. The twits and turns were a surprise. A little lame when Adama drops a Cylon by beating it with a steel rod but overall a great movie.
