Battleship

Just when Micheal Bay thought he could make a movie out of any toy that went “boom", a different kind of bomb happened instead. This movie may offer energetic escapism for less demanding filmgoers (mostly dumbass kids), but it's way too loud, poorly written, and formulaic to justify its expense -- and a lot less fun than its source material. Jesus, I wonder what's next? Hungry Hungry Hippos? Guess Who? Operation? Connect Four? Twister? Cluedo? (Oh wait a minute, Cluedo already got a movie).

Love story aside, action packed, well made movie that bring a board game to life. I loved the way they linked the game into the movie. 4 stars as the love story was horrid.

Not sure how this has so many positive reviews. This is AWFUL, acting AND story are bad and has no redeemable qualities (even special effects are just okay). I feel sorry for the actors in this, that they are tarnished by this film.
