About this movie

From director Zack Snyder comes “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” starring Ben Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne and Henry Cavill as Superman/Clark Kent in the characters’ first big-screen pairing. Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.

Man of Steel was great - I loved it even more than I did the classic Superman movies (and before, to me there was no Superman like Reeves, so that says a lot). But this could've been done better. I think part of it is that it seems too weird that they're changing all the actors out except for the ones from 'Man of Steel' - like, one of the reasons why I was ever even remotely excited about this movie coming out was because I thought that it would also be a continuation of "The Dark Knight" or the the Arrowverse TV Shows. I mean, come on, I know this isn't Avengers, but a big part of what made them so famous is because they tied all those other movies together. They didn't just make another random remake, except in the case of Spider-Man. The only superheroes here that I really liked were Cavill as Superman and Wonder Woman. I liked Amy Adams as Lois, too. But the rest . . . you could've done better. That's my first complaint. The other one is the name: it should've been simply named "Dawn of Justice" or something just a little more creative and less pathetic.

All the whiny dirtbags hating on this movie are a bunch of posers trying to follow the steps of the so called "superiors" just because your "friends" said the movie sucks, DOESNT MEAN THE MOVIE SUCKED I had this idiot friend say that he didn't want to see the movie because his sister's boyfriend said it sucked. OK cool, that's his opinion not yours. Sure maybe the movie had some flaws, but just because you're favorite superhero dies at the end doesnt mean the movie sucks People amuse me I swear

The comic book faithful will try their very best to tell you that this movie is great for reasons only they understand. What THEY don't understsnd is that making movies on this scale for a niche audience is no formula for success. Conversely, Marvels approach has been highly successful not because of one-liners or humor. Marvel just makes better movies, plain and simple. Marvel's movies are approachable and enjoyable REGARDLESS of your knowledge of the source material. Hope DC figures it out.
