About this movie

Academy Award® winner Denzel Washington stars in this "riveting and powerful nail-biting thriller" from Robert Zemeckis the Academy Award® winning director of Forrest Gump and Cast Away. Airline pilot Whip Whitaker (Washington) miraculously lands his plane after a mid-air catastrophe. But even as he's being hailed for his heroic efforts questions arise as to who or what was really at fault. Action-packed engrossing and powerful Washington's performance is being hailed as "a triumph2" and one that "will be talked about for years." -- Pete Hammond Deadline Hollywood, Richard Corliss TIME, Peter Travers Rolling Stone

This movie is really bad i don't know what people see in it. I had so high hopes for this movie and was let down hard .this movie felt like if i was sitting at church seriously if u watch this movie they preach to u though this movie non stop. The only reason why I'm giving two stars is i like Denzel Washington as an actor he's one of my favorites. He does a great job in this movie despite how bad it is.

I guess when you have had as distinguished of a career in acting as Denzel Washington has had you can afford to phone in your performance and star in a piece of shit film without shame. I do not blame Mr. Washington at all. Try as he might, and I do think he was trying in Flight, he cannot wreck his good name as one of the greatest leading men of all time in Hollywood. Flight is just a steaming pile of trump with it's two dimensional characters and hollow plot and there is only so much you can do with those limitations even if you're willing and I don't think Denzel was. Will definitely watch the first five minutes again only to see Nadine Velazquez' beautiful performance. Beyond that, not so much.

Movie would've been better in my opinion if there was at least 50% less use of drugs and alcohol. I understand that they are trying to portray how much of a addict the main character is. But that way just an over exaggerated use of those two items. It would've been better if the idea of him just being an addict was just said throughout the movie instead of showing it to many times!! 😾...
