I'm not even sure what the start was, flying round on dragon flies, I thought it was avatar. Fight scenes with robots looking like something from Transformers or Avengers assemble. Never ending pointless fight scenes......tedious..... The dialogue was shocking, a 6 year old could have put more effort into it. Millions spent on effects and little to nothing on characters or storyline. No superman identity, just blurring into many other film types and styles.

Most people say we get too tied down to the Christopher Reeve superman, although I was not a big fan of those films at all. Superman Returns was absolute trash. But Man of Steel is beyond trash... It had basically no story and relied on special effects too much. This was one of the first movies I ever got bored of watching so quickly. The only reason I finished watching it was because I already brought it. I'm not going to complain about the actors as I found nothing wrong with them, but the film is awfull.

After all the hype that friends and family gave it, I went to watch it. I walked out feeling as if I wasted my money. It's literally the just same Superman movie you've seen about 10 different times once again, but this time it's slam packed with special effects - the only thing that puts you in awe about the film. Unfortunately, the movie is extremely average, I'd give it about a 5/10. There is hardly any character development or meaning to the storyline, it just seems pointless and bland. NOT recommended.
