Thirumanam Ennum Nikkah

A surprisingly pretty good movie despite mixed reviews. Jai and Nazriya pull off a fun romantic movie that has lots of funny parts. Religion is an underlying theme, but doesn't dominate as the description hints. If anything it shows a reasonable response to understanding the difference and how they really should not get in the way. Family friendly with only a tiny amount of violence when Jai is beat up in one scene, but definitely not the amount you find on most Tamil movies these days. It is also a nice balance between characters with each sharing the limelight instead of the usual female lead being lessened. Guys, watch it with your gal...you won't be bored since it's pretty entertaining. The music scenes are not over the top either and fit really nicely with the movie. A winner in my book.
