About this movie

Continuing the epic big-screen adventures started in "Iron Man," "The Incredible Hulk," "Iron Man 2," "Thor," and "Captain America: The First Avenger," "Avengers Assemble" is the Super Hero team up of a lifetime. When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, Director of the international peacekeeping agency known as SHIELD, finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. Based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series, first published in 1963, "Avengers Assemble" brings together the mightiest Super Hero characters as they all assemble together on screen for the first time. © 2012 Walt Disney Pictures

Being a fan of the Marvel film franchise, there was no possibility of me not watching this film. Although I hadn't seen either "Captain America: The First Avenger" or "Thor" that wasn't important as you find out about both of the above during this movie. From start to finish the story line is perfect and easy to follow, there is humour all the way through the movie, and the special effects are so amazing there aren't words to describe how good they are! A brilliant must watch film. Five stars easily!

Do not buy this great film if its on a HTC one. The download is fine, a little pricey, but when you go to watch the film it comes up with a message saying there has been an error and to tap the screen to retry. Sometimes you can get the film to start after several taps but if you do then you have to watch it in one go because pausing, fast forwarding and rewinding will all cause the message to come back up and you will have to start from the very beginning. This has been a problem on the HTC one for a while

Fun, silly, with great special effects and a pretty relentless end action sequence. I've watched each of the individual character's films which were mostly awful (Captain America + Thor were utterly awful), but this film definitely did a lot better. It's a visual fest with a few laughs thrown in.
