From a technical perspective, this film is amazing. From every other perspective, this film is trash. Seriously. If a young child wants to watch this movie, their parents should be responsible and say "no". If a parent forces their young child to watch this movie, I could envision the CPS becoming involved. Seriously. This movie is very disturbing, even for many adults. Yes, it's has its moments and messages, but I'm sharing my opinion of the entire movie, not just a few snippets of it here and there.

I was trying to download a movie to my phone for my granddaughter. I finally was able to "PURCHASE" this movie rental. HOWEVER, it then says you need some other viewer blah-blah-blah which never downloaded. Without it we never could see the movie and now we are back to being 1,300 miles apart and no way for her to see it if it ever does get straight.

Just not the age that most people introduce movies to. You probably have to know your children enough on whether they could appreciate it and not be scarred for life; I'm dead certain my kids would be absolutely terrified of this wonderfully dark and creepy morality tale. Another cautionary tale on today's entertainment...just because it's "animated" doesn't make it made for children, in the same way morons think anime is OK for kids. Temet nosce when it comes to your own, folks.
