A real slow burner but i liked it, there something really unsettling not just about the style of this movie but the fact that they never found the guy and the movie gives you enough suspects to make you think but then goes and does the thinking for you and basically say who they believe the Killer is. I for one don't believe it was him, do the research and you should come to same conclusion, just like Jack the Ripper may have been the poet William Blake, research out will blow your mind. Good movie but slow.

Fantastic film perhaps Finchers best.very underated. Doesn't go for cheap thrills here but the suspense is achieved expertly and we have great character portraits of the three main. Protagonists.in short it is a movie about obsession and not conventional for it's genre

Acting wasn't great, film was bloated and moved too slowly. The subject just didn't lend itself to a good film - no resolution and no real drama. Disappointing and shows how poor a guide the Rotten Tomatoes score can be.
