About this movie

Genre-smashing filmmaker Edgar Wright tells the amazing story of one romantic slacker's quest to power up with love. Scott Pilgrim's (Michael Cera) new crush has the most unusual baggage of all: a nefarious league of exes who control her love life and will do whatever it takes to eliminate him as a suitor.

It was meh, overlong, cringey and empty with characters I couldn't really care about. Sightly better the second time around. I liked the gay guy, Knives was adorbs :3, the fight scenes were watchable and there were a couple of laughs to be had. And I didn't know bass guitar was so damn cool! Rom coms are trash, imo, but this was slightly better than most. Guess maybe gamers will appreciate it more, which I'm not. At all. So... Miiiiight give the book a look some time.

This is probably my favourite comic book film of all time and definitely one of my favourite films of all time! I watch this movie a few times a month and it never gets old and there's always a new reference or detail every single time I watch it! If campy comic-booky video-game style anime-inspired movies with garage band music isn't for you, then you're probably the most boring person ever to grace the planet.

The music in this film is excellent. All of the little Easter eggs in this are amazing. It deviates from the books massively towards the end. But it's still kept the feel of Scott pilgrim. I watched this everyday for 25 days straight directors commentaries and all. Must watch
