About this movie

From Judd Apatow, the guy who brought you Bridesmaids. Since she was a little girl, it’s been drilled into Amy’s (Schumer) head by her rascal of a dad (Colin Quinn) that monogamy isn’t realistic. Now a magazine writer, Amy lives by that credo – enjoying what she feels is an uninhibited life free from stifling, boring romantic commitment – but in actuality, she’s kind of in a rut. When she finds herself starting to fall for the subject of a new article she’s writing, a charming and successful sports doctor named Aaron Conners (Bill Hader), Amy starts to wonder if other grown-ups, including this guy who really seems to like her, might be onto something. Definitely not as funny as everyone was making it out to be. Bill Hader was pretty much wasted here. Amy Schumer is...Amy Schumer. The funniest spots are actually from Lebron. Which is odd when you have decent SNL talent. I was expecting The Hangover type of laughs but it didn't even come close. If you a free movie credit from Chromecast use it on this if you are interested lol.

Modern comedy FILMS never seem to deliver for me (stand up and podcast, and sketch is where the juice is imo) but this is the best modern comedy movie I've seen in a long time. I'm saying this, as one who doesn't enjoy the Farrell films, hart movies, or Sandler flicks. Not crapping on them, but If you feel the way I do about comedy movies, you'll like this. It was awesome, and I'd watch it again.

The trailer made this movie look like it was gonna be a normal funny comedy. But nope, it just had funny moments here and there. Scenes dragged on longer than they should have, almost to the point where you'd asked yourself why is this happening. The story was good but wasn't played out the best. Not worth watching.
