One of the worst movies I have seen in a long time. Had looked forward to it since it got so much hype. Terribly disappointed. Ben Affleck played HIMSELF so that was an easy role - arrogant, unexciting, not very bright. Neil Patrick Harris (I think that's his name) was miscast. Difficult to imagine a gay guy in this role. Horrible ending. The fact that so many people liked this movie shows you how low the bar has been set for films today. Great movies are rare. Mediocrity or just plain awful is the name of the game. DON'T BOTHER WATCHING IT.

Soo... I kinda don't really like the casting choice in this. I just don't buy Affleck and Pikes performance. I don't feel like they have any on screen chemistry at all. Neil P. Harris was also weird choice. Oddly enough Tyler Perry was the only person I truly liked in this movie. I don't really like him that much but in this he's decent. I love David Fincher movies mostly. not all. But this one one was a miss for me unfortunately. Oh well.

How people find this to be entertaining is a real sign of the times. Nothing about it is compelling. The police are ridiculous. The whole premise is preposterous. The tail end of the movie is laughable. And logic is no-where to be found from start to finish. I'd be happy to elaborate on the plethora of instances where the actors and director filled whole minutes of film with cognitive horse crap, but I don't want to recite the entire script from line one.
