Very predictable, mystery, what mystery? This has been used so many times, much better than this. The female protagonist, very unbelievable, as a tough street wise orphan/woman/hacker! One more scene of her riding her motorcycle, up & down the country: boring really boring, Gratuitous Sex, I was laughing, so hard, except the first rape scene, too much visual information, As For the dialog, very garbled at times, and the lighting, OK I get it was supposed to be a film noir, but do you think we could have at least seen the actors, instead of, black screen or shadows.. All in all I would not recommend this movie to anyone who has read a few books,

I was watching this movie with my wife and she fell asleep right at the beginning. She woke up on the first rape scene and it was very traumatic... 15 minutes later if the first scene wasn't enough, the seconded one, made my wife cry and she went to the toilet to throw up just by imagining the scene, because I had to stop the movie. Seriously, it's very graphic, and completely unnecessary. I don't recommend watching this movie at all. It's not worthy it.

I prefer the real one, the Swedish. This is the American blockbuster version and as always in these cases Hollywood ruined the original. Less profound and keen interpretation of the female role. Here she is a sort of Emo Female version of John Connor. You idiots, this is a noir. The note clearly says R: no kids, violence, rape, sex. You cannot stand this, watch Disney's.
