This is a film you really have to let go of any logic to maybe enjoy. The plot makes no sense, it suffers from an overpowered character that could end confrontations in a split second (but doesn't), and the "science" is totally unbelievable. Superman sounds more probably then what they propose in this. The cherry on top of it all is that the ending is supposed to be philosophical and deep, but just comes off is confusing in it message and overall unsatisfactory. I'm ok with ambiguous endings, but this just... beyond words. Really, I don't see why anyone likes it.

10% of the brain thing was really stupid. It comes from a study from the late 1800's in which a single boy was brought up in such a way that by the age of 15 his IQ was well above 250. The conductor of the study said that we barely use 10% of our overall capacity (meang potential). They also stole a lot of their material from Japanese Animation, Manga, and American television (eg. Elfen Lied, Parasyte: The Maxim).

To start with, we actually do have access to our entire brain. Sorry to dissapoint people, but we won't gain superpowers from "getting more access to it" and won't die when it reaches 100% There was no explanation for anything either. It had no good concepts, amateur editing, and had terrible acting. I'm not just hating this because it was unbelievable. It's also a really crappy movie. People who are arguing for this are just arrogant. I understood the terrible storyline just fine.
