About this movie

Dom Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) is a skilled thief, the best in the dangerous art of extraction: stealing valuable secrets from deep within the subconscious during the dream state when the mind is at its most vulnerable. Cobb's rare ability has made him a coveted player in this treacherous new world of corporate espionage, but it has also made him an international fugitive and cost him everything he has ever loved. Now Cobb is being offered a chance at redemption. One last job could give him his life back but only if he can accomplish the impossible--inception. Instead of the perfect heist, Cobb and his team of specialists have to pull off the reverse, their task is not to steal an idea but to plant one. If they succeed, it could be the perfect crime. But no amount of careful planning or expertise can prepare the team for the dangerous enemy that seems to predict their every move. An enemy that only Cobb could have seen coming. I really enjoyed this movie. Gripping from start to finish. The subject matter and plot is unusual and the way the scenes intertwine and the story develops, you are very powerfully drawn in. What's curious about this movie is that not only is the lead character compelling (Leonardo di Caprio) but equally all the main characters each give a stellar performance; the cast is well chosen and there is an amazing on-screen chemistry going on. It just works. The score is also brilliant - Hans Zimmer has an amazing ability to create scores that really bring out the full emotional tone and tempo of a scene. This movie is interesting and intriguing, and will have you thinking about it for hours later. It is the best kind of movie because it makes you think, and enquire, and touches you in a way that will have changed you in some way, because it will leave an impression, and make you reflect. Entertaining, slick, charming, funny, thought-provoking. With the likes of Michael Caine in it as well, albeit a small part, it's a solid cast and very beautifully crafted. Not one to miss. Although it is rated PG-13, I would say it is definitely an adult movie given the nature of the material.

Just because all these retards who have a brain the size of a pea can't keep up with the story doesn't mean others cant. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie with a gripping and diverse plot with a fantastic soundtrack, it really makes you think about the perspective of dreams and even life. The heartwarming ending and the A game acting really did show in this spectacular movie. If you have not seen this I totally recommend it to you. If you can't keep up with diverse and immersing plots then this isn't the film for you. I could definitely watch this film again!

Had to give it 5 stars as I feel they threw everything they could at it...great actors..amazing special effects...long varied action scenes...clever cgi. The story a little elongated..a tad shorter would help but all the same fairly epic. Watch when you are not tierd. .distracted or drunk.
