About this movie

Singer. Rebel. Outlaw. Hero. With his driving freight-train chords, steel-eyed intensity and a voice as dark as the night, the legendary "Man in Black" revolutionized music - and forged his legacy as a genuine American icon. WARREN CARTER (Kentucky Boy)

I am a 4th cousin to June Carter Cash. Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon (a native Tennessee girl) did a superb job playing Johnny Cash and June Carter. Many things in the movie were exaggerated. John's relationship with his father Ray Cash was not as intense as the movie portrayed. Ray was a stern and strict cotton farmer but was not verbally abusive to his children. Vivian Cash was not exactly portrayed as she really was. The movie didn't include a lot of other events in Johnny Cash's life. One is in 1967, he left his home in Hendersonville, one day and went to Nickajack Cave. He crawled back in the cave to die. But if they put everything that Johnny Cash went through the film would be 6 hours long. Mother Maybelle and Uncle Eck (Ezra Carter) were portrayed excellently. Some other characters portrayed in the movie was very good. Jerry Lee Lewis was called to preach the Gospel. He admitted that all through his life. His cousin Jimmy Swaggart became the preacher of the family. The actors who portrayed Luther Perkins, Marshall Grant, and W.S. Holland (the Tennessee 3). John Carter Cash was a big part in the filming of the movie. - Wayne Carter

A moment of impact almost a potential for change as ripple effects far beyond what we can predict. Sending some particles crashin' together, and makin' them closer than before. While sending others, spending of into great ventures. An ending you've never thought you'll find them. You see that's that's the thing about moments like this. You can no matter how hard you try, control how they're gonna affect you. You just gonna let it that impart where did they met, and wait, until the next collision. - Leo
