About this app

iSMS2droid imports all your Apple iPhone SMS texts and iMessages into Android's messaging app - FOR FREE!

Please be aware that this app only works with unencrypted SMS databases. If you have encryption enabled for your backups, disabled it and create a new backup - you can of course enable encryption again after the import.

--- Instructions ---

Step 1) Check https://isms2droid.com for detailed instructions on how to get your iPhone SMS database, then copy it via USB cable/Dropbox/etc. onto your Android phone.

Step 2) Start iSMS2droid and tap on "Import Messages" to select your iPhone SMS database file.

Step 3) Choose if you want to import all messages, or select specific conversations by contact.

Step 4) Rate or review this app on Google Play if you are happy with it.

If you have any issues with my app, please contact me at support@isms2droid.com instead of leaving a bad rating or a negative review, as those help neither of us! ;-)

Wonderful app. I recommend clearing storage on default messaging app immediately after import completes, rather than waiting like the FAQ says. As far as I can tell, there are no downsides to this, and it forces reindexing immediately. Very helpful. Otherwise, completed quickly exactly as described. Instructions are clear and detailed. Would use again.

Followed the directions very carefully, and it did what it said it would. I was able to restore all 200,000 texts that were saved on my iphone. It took over an hour because so many. The pictures and links were removed, but I had already downloaded or backed those up prior. I opened the messages app, and they populated slowly, but surely. Read the instructions and read the FAQ. Thanks for the free app!

Does exactly what it says! I had an ancient iPhone 4g that has a shattered screen (though still functions) that has lots of texts from 2013 and up till early 2017 that are of great importance to me. I use a Galaxy s10e now and a MacBook Pro and tried emailing then opening up on my phone and didn't work so I just dropped the file to a flashdrive then used a multiconnector device and plugged into my phone directly which worked just fine. The only issue is that the call log file was not present.THX
