About this app

MarsClock is an alarm clock that lets you see times for all three of NASA's Mars rovers -- Spirit, Opportunity, and Curiosity -- as well as the InSight lander and the new Perseverance rover. You can also set alarms in Mars time, either as one-shot alarms or as alarms that will repeat every sol (that is, every Martian day).

This app is released for free by a (former) rover driver on NASA's Mars missions. Enjoy it!

Fun but fundamentally completely useless. Which is fine, me not being a Mars rover driver. No adverts. I need to sample some Jeff Wayne/ War of the Worlds for alarm tones.

What's new

* Fix some crashes at startup under (especially) Android 14.
* Fix alarms that are set before a device restart but fire afterward, under (especially) Android 11+. I haven't fully figured out how to work around some weird Android restrictions, so this appears to work under all Android versions except 11 through 13 (14 is fine). On those versions only, the *first* alarm to fire after a device restart might or might not work, but subsequent ones appear to work fine. I have more to investigate here.
