Like a fishing guide this app will consider many factors that affect fish behavior in order to predict where they will be and how actively they’ll be feeding. This freshwater fishing guide supports bass, sunfish, crappie, perch, walleye, catfish, trout, salmon, pike and musky.
Version 3.0 is faster and more powerful than earlier versions, and has new features. Most functions are available in the free version, but there are some Pro Features for a small fee that serious anglers will want to unlock.
Build your own collection of fishing spots and My Fishing Advisor will help you pick which ones are most promising at a given time. It will help with lure selection, and even details like the most appropriate rods, line, hook sizes and sinker weights. This app in 2015/2016 was targeted and right on. 2017 and now worse in 2018 is so off the mark I wouldn't wanted any time with this and certainly dont clutter your precise phone app space with this. I was such a loyal and paid customer. Paid twice when phone lost and no app backup. Didn't care. App was great...at the time...now...good riddance

I'm not sure what the issue is exactly. Backups of your data to the cloud are supported in the app. There's no need to pay more than once - as long as you use the same app store account, and install the same version.

Definitely helps out a lot with narrowing down spots to go to. I use it all summer constantly but the only downfall I find for the app is, cause I live in Canada and I ice fish a lot I thought it would be really awesome if you could add a few features for anglers who do ice fish.

Thanks for your review! When the app recognizes that the water is frozen over, it does adjust the fishing plans for ice fishing. It will only recommend still fishing and jigging techniques, and will generally lean towards more finesse oriented lure and bait choices.

I bought paid version maybe couple years ago. It has no idea the weather unless I actually manually type it in or the water condition anymore. It did work in beginning. Ps. It always tells me to get a WHITE JIG, except like 4 times in 2 yrs no matter where or what I am fishing for
What's new
Improvements to make it easier to setup multiple fishing spots on one body of water. Now when you mark a new fishing spot things like the type of body of water, usual clarity, color, and the cover, structure and species present default to the nearest fishing spot you've previously saved.
